IS THERE A HEAVEN?
Psalms 73:25 - "Whom have I in Heaven but Thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee."
What does the Bible Say About Heaven?
Genesis 1:1 - "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
Genesis 1:7-8 "And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament
from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so, and God called the firmament Heaven..."
In the beginning....... The beginning of what? It is interesting that we either ignore this phrase or we
just go past it without thinking of what it is saying. The first three words of Genesis indicate there is
a beginning to time. Prior to this time didn't exist except in the mind of God. There was only eternity.
As time had a beginning, so the Bible says it will have an end - Revelation 10:5-6.
The next interesting thing about this first verse is the mention of God. There is no explanation given
for how he got into this story. Further study will show that he is eternally existent and that he is the
only uncreated being. The word God here is Elohiym which denotes plurality in the Godhead. Even the
Jewish scholars of Old Testament languages admit to this, however they reject Christ as the Messiah
and his claim to be God so they will not acknowledge the Trinity. If we follow the first chapter through
to verse 26; we will see God speaking and saying " let us make man in our image." It would be outright
blasphemy to believe he was speaking to the angels as equals so the Son and the Holy Spirit are the us
spoken of here. The word God (Elohiym) used in verse 26 clarifies this plurality and must of necessity
be construed to mean the Trinity in relation to other scriptures throughout the Bible pertaining to the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the attributes of deity ascribed to each of them.
So then all three were active in the creation story as Elohiym and verse one concludes with the creation
of the heaven and the earth by God, and throughout scripture there is further evidence that the Godhead
worked together in bringing the world as we know it into existence.

Eternal darkness, never to know God’s love. Always to know and feel God’s wrath. Unceasing memories of rejecting Christ’s sacrifice for you. Physical pain beyond description. Mental despair beyond imagination. The company of multitudes of damned souls or total absence of any company forever. The company of screaming hordes of demons forever. Unceasing terror. Heat defying all our understanding in unquenchable fire. Worms gnawing forever at indestructible bodies. Never ending hate and the total absence of love. The curses of those who blame everyone but themselves for being there. No liquid of any kind for relief. No way of escape!

To be spiritually alive in Christ with a steadfast hope and peace every day. The car you NEED. The house you NEED. The health you NEED. The job or ministry you NEED. The furniture you NEED. The leisure time you NEED. The food and drink you NEED. The clothing you NEED. The weather you NEED. The friends and the family you NEED. The companions you NEED. The schooling you NEED. The strength you need. The love you NEED. All you NEED. Philippians 4:19
The Eternal Reward Of The Life Shown Above
Eternal life in the presence of God and his holy angels. The company of the saints of all ages. Always to know God’s love, joy and peace. No sickness, pain, sorrow, or dying. An indestructible and incorruptible body. A mansion and crowns. Heavenly music. Perfect climatic conditions. Every increasing knowledge of God, yet never fully knowing all there is to know about him. An overwhelming sense of love from every resident of Heaven. Reunion with loved ones who died in Christ. The ability to offer perfect praise and worship to God. Life on a new earth after the polluted planet we live on is destroyed by fire. A new Heaven. Pleasures beyond our wildest dreams or power to comprehend here. Above all, to see our redeemer and glory in his presence and power forever and ever.
